Our holistic concept makes us a modern school. You can find more about this under Concept. In addition we value clear structures and comprehensible learning content that our pupils and parents can easily understand and bring to life.

My child doesn't speak Chinese yet. Can he/she still apply to the MSH?

Yes. In elementary school as well as in 5th grade, your child can easily join us and make up for the lack of Chinese knowledge in the context of regular lessons. For transfer students who want to switch to us from year 6 onwards, we offer an additional intensive Chinese course that helps your child achieve at the level of the respective class. Alternatively, Span-ish is offered for the Abitur from 10th grade.

What does it cost to attend MSH?

We charge a fixed school fee of € 250 per student per month, as stipulated by the city of Hamburg. In exceptional cases, this can be reduced or eliminated entirely. If you have any questions, please let us know in your personal registration interview.

In addition to school fees, lunch must be paid regularly for each child.
The after-school care after 4 p.m. is voluntary and the costs are based on the desired needs.

What levels of education are offered by MSH?

As a privately owned school, we are subject to the external examination ordinance of the Hamburg School and Vocational Training Authority. Students can obtain the following recog-nized degrees from the MSH:

ESA – Erster Schulabschluss (First School gratuation)

MSA – Mittlerer Schulabschluss (Middle School gratuation)

Abitur (High School Degree / A level)

Is the school approved by the state?

Yes. Our students therefore receive the same educational qualifications as at state high schools. The state school board supervises all private schools equally.

Are there registration deadlines?

No. You can register your child at any time as long as there are free places in the desired class. If you are interested, please send us the sheet linked below to express your interest. We will then get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a joint registration meeting with you and your child.
